This section contains accounts of travel projects undertaken during relatively recent years. Some take the form of diary entries, several use a question-and-answer format while others are straightforward reports.

By now we've travelled in Europe, particularly in different regions of France, and in Belgium, Italy, Sicily, Czech Republic (Prague only), Turkey (Istanbul) and Crete among others, Australia (twice), New Zealand, several times in different parts of the United States and more recently to the eastern corner of Canada.

The first piece appearing here is a diary treatment of a week spent in Lebanon during early 2005, our first - and so far - only visit to the Middle East. Given the country's critical position in that region and all the cultural differences between 'the West' and the Arab world, this was probably the most stimulating and exciting (though never dangerous) of all our trips abroad.
